If you don’t own the game yet the Portingkit can direct you to the game page where to purchase it and download the setup/download file to your download folder. Simply download the Portingkit (if you don’t have it already) and go to the library –> server tab and select the “Aquanox” game and click download. The player becomes a member of a group of eight mercenaries crossing the oceans. Tactics and patience complement the fast-paced dogfights. Bonus objectives as well as hidden bonus weaponry guarantee each missions’ re-playability. A gripping story, striking characters and the overwhelming architecture of the underwater world are framed by an ingenious user interface. I made another video instruction for this game using the Portingkit including some gameplay! Have fun!Īquanox 2: Revelation chases the player through high-energy action and sinister underwater cities. You can buy this game from Gamersgate and download the “Download Aquanox 2- Revelation.exe” file from your Gamersgate library to your downloads folder where the Portingkit will do the rest :) Tested the game on my Nvidia 640M iMac and works native windows.

Aquanox 2 is an action game where you find yourself undersea fighting and surviving. The free Portingkit will do all the work for all new game port releases from now on. Plus, the final video hints something about "a merecenary, whose name you -the player- know" willing to kill them, in a "free" reference to who I thought it could be Emerald Flint himself. This is the second Portingkit only application where I don’t need to host the Wrapper anywhere. Since someone in the game talked about "another enemy besides the bionts" I was seeing a clear ending: The angel tears were some kind of mass destruction weapon to use against those monsters, and in the end it was activated, linking somehow the plot with Aquanox, but the game says nothing (Or, at least, I didn't understood the important parts), and leaves you with more questions than answers. Honestly, given the Aquanox 1ending, I was waiting for some reference to the somewhat Lovecraftian monster who got killed in the fusion plant on Neopolis at the first part ending.

Just a frozen monster, a "now we are rich" and nothing more. Some archetypal characters and some "it could be told better" parts, and in the other hand an awesome background world, some interesting characters, and the final goal of the game, The Angel Tears, shinning on the end of the track.īut then I got to the end and. as I said, I finished it, halfway hooked with the story. Despite the lack of save options (Neither checkpoint, which HURTS in some of the lengthier missions) I've had a fine amount of fun playing it. I just finished Aquanox 2, an overall fun title with an interesting approach to a "underwater combat" system.
